What's On
Dance Camp activities and events run for ten days (with one additional day of rest on Being Day) from Tuesday 27 July to Saturday 7 August 2027. Every day of activities follows the same rhythm - morning circle, workshops, meals together and dancing into the evening - with one day to break the pattern.
When you arrive you’ll be given the full Programme of workshops and events. We change our clocks one hour back to what we call Dance Camp Time (DCT). There’s always more happening on the Fringe than the Programme can list, and a break in the Café with the people you’ve just met is a must.

A Day at Camp

- 6.00 - 7.00DinnerEat, or keep moving. There are workshops through dinner too, like hip-hop dancing.

- 8.30 - 11.30Evening ActivitiesLive music in the Big Dome, themed nights in the Cafe, and whatever the Fringe has dreamed up.
Arrival Day
Everyone arrives on the field, finds a circle to camp with and pitches up together.
Being Day
No workshops are scheduled. A day to rest, wander and be, with a market in the afternoon where yo away your goodies.
Leaving Day
A last breakfast together, then farewells until next year.
Where It All Happens
Every circle, workshop and late-night session on this page happens somewhere on one field in West Wales. The domes, the Big Top, the Café, the creative area, the Sacred Space and the children’s area each have their own corner, and working out where everything is is part of the first day.
What's On For Children
Children are at the beating heart of our camp. We delight that many of the children we first met in the Crèche over 30 years ago are now running workshops, taking part in Core Group or bringing their children to savour the things they so enjoyed in their childhood.
There’s something running for every age, all day, every day - from the Crèche through to the Scratch Band.
Little Ones
Crèche
For little ones, there’s the colourful Crèche, where a team of friendly workers will meet their every need.
Coco Bender
Story time happens in the Coco Bender every day in a small geodesic dome where little ones can pile in and listen with a cup of warm coco.
Making Things
Craft Workshops
Join a wide range of Craft Workshops, where all generations come together to learn new skills and create a wide range of beautiful things from mosaics to masks, badges to baskets, tie-dye to tiny books and much more.
Kids’ Kitchen
Yummy food can be made to take back and share in their circles or with friends with savoury deliciousness in the mornings, and sweet treats in the afternoon.
Shadow Puppet Show
Anyone can help make puppets in the Kids’ Zone in the run-up. The show itself is one of the highlights of the camp.
Playing & Dancing
Kids’ Zone
Reading, board games and other quieter activities, with the climbing frame and the big swing just outside for testing physical skills and hanging out with friends.
Water Slide
On sunny days, listen out for the call - when the Water Slide goes up, the whole camp comes running. Bring a swimming costume and a towel.
Dance Workshops
Zumba, Hip Hop and Bollywood are among the most popular workshops at camp, and every one of them is open to all ages - kids and grandparents in the same room.
Scratch Band
Learn the circle dance tunes over the week, then play them for the whole camp to dance to on the last evening. No experience needed. Instruments can be borrowed.
